Coaches are Key
You've probably heard about the "coaching" profession by now. Large numbers of people have become certified coaches, which gives them skills to help other people, small business owners, let's say, to get through their daily life and be able to prioritize their personal and business tasks. It can be a very helpful boost for the overburdened person, whether a small business owner, executive, stay-at-home mother, etc. A friend of mine is a coach who specializes in women over 40, and helps them with a fitness and nutrition plan to get on a good track of health. She knows a number of good fitness trainers and other holistic health practitioners and uses them to complete her service to her clients.
I think coaches have the potential to bring holistic health practices to the world. A coach who is knowledgeable about holistic health practices and who the practitioners are (and who's good) would be really invaluable to their clients.
Another group that could spread the message quickly and effectively are realtors. When someone new moves into town, the realtor should have a bunch of holistic health practitioners they can refer clients to, to help them adjust to life in the new city. Knowing who the good massage therapists, naturopaths, etc. in a new town! Can you imagine how great that would be?? Realtors who have magazines like The Wellpoint in their back pocket ready for clients who have that request would be even more successful with that angle covered.
