All the little-guy ISPs are organizing the Gigabyte March on Washington beginning today. See this story from Broadband Reports (by way of Free Press).
To no one's surprise, really, the FCC is helping the telecom companies
to keep mom-and-pop ISPs far away from their DSL pipes.
So, like independent bookstores and grocery stores, we have to do our
part to support your local ISP. You don't even have to waste shoe
leather, just sign on at the site above. Don't forget to leave a Public
Comment with the FCC while you're there.
