It was all smiles a few weeks ago when Senator Allen and attendees at the Roanoke Higher Education Center spoke face-to-face across the Internet with John Starke, President of the Telework Consortium.

Wade Butts (on the left) introduced Senator Allen (far right) to the virtually present John Starke, who was seated in his office in Northern VA (and just off screen to the right). As can be seen in the photo, the Roanoke, VA audience was captivated by the leading edge video presence application - just one of the many leading edge tools and technologies under evaluation at the Telework Consortium.
