Grid Computing is the hot emerging technology Bob Evans writes in InformationWeek that grid computing is the hot emergent technology of the future.  Now that IBM, HP, Oracle and others have invested heavily in this paradigm, it is going to pervade corporate America systems.  The idea just makes too much sense to discard, and enterprise justice information systems will eventually figure out how to adopt this technology in larger systems.  The idea of computing power and resources applied on demand is as valuable in the justice information system field as it is in corporate America.  In both environments, wasting valuable resources can no longer be tolerated, and with this technology, huge savings and much higher availability are the consequences. 6:23:09 PM    comment []
