Rebecca's Blog
Mostly news stories or articles of interest in the future to me. I'll eventually get around to adding my own ideas and stories on a more regular basis.

Getting up so early is starting to catch up with me.  I'm supposed to have an early dinner with Kristen.  Oh...Wednesday I might have to have a Rebecca-only eve.  I didn't have a single hour of awake, alone time this weekend and I'm in need of rest and hanging out on my own.  Maybe tonight I'll get home early enough to at least have the rest.

Microsoft document templates are my friend.  They make my efforts look pretty.

It's a blueberry day.

Whole-wheat blueberry waffles, blueberry preserves and blueberry yogurt.  Heh.  I love Trader Joes.

I had a very nice, busy weekend.  Friday Chris and I stopped at a random Thai place (i won't recommend it, but it wasn't horrible...but when there are GOOD places to go, why mention the medium) and then went to Ellicott City.  I got a cute winter hat for a dollar and had some yummy cider.  All of the stores had champagne and snacks out, which was cute.  It was crazy packed (parking sucked), but it was cute and fun.

We got up VERY early on Saturday and went to meet the bus to NYC.  As predicted, Scott and I talked the whole way and Chris tried to sleep.  heh.  We got there, quickly found the MOMA - what a great museum...my favorite ever.  The new exhibit just opened in November, so it was packed...we had to stand in a long line outside just to get in.  After a couple of hours, we left to meet a couple of folks...who took us to a cute little restaurant...which had some yummy, spinach perogi's.  After we departed, we went down to the village and then just walked around for a couple of hours checking out little shops.  I love my Christmas cards.  I'm doing fewer presents this year, so I figured I needed better cards. heh.  I also got a cute scarf.  NY is the place for scarves.  We tried to catch a cab back to Macy's, but there were none...so we booked it by foot the 22 blocks or whatever.  It was actually easier.  Super-fast walking.  Too short of a day, but nice to go up.

Yesterday I got up and went to B&N to work for a few hours.  Scott showed up (I'm easy to find on Sunday mornings) and we went over to the mall after the work and some magazine reading was done.  Chris and I then went to Fell's Point and walked around...found a couple of little gifts...and then tried out a new restaurant for dinner.  It was the Red Star.  The appetizer sucked, but my entree was de-lic!  It was a roma sausage pasta.

So, that was my weekend. I got up at 5:15 this morning to get to work by 6 and work some more. I should've/could've worked more yesterday, but I wanted to spend the day doing other stuff too, so there.  :)
