There's been this funny thing happening lately...my separated friends are becoming friends with each other. I've had this thing of having very divided friend-groups that don't really hang with each other. I have:
moved-here-friends...the people that i knew before i moved here (or met through them) jaycees friends... random people...avocado, i met online...cheryl i met volunteering... and so forth. chris and friends
While I was gone, the jaycees friends invited Scott out. Tonight Kristen (jaycees) is having Cheryl over for an activity. Next Sunday Avocado is going to Dal's. All these are happening with no input/planning from me. I don't mind, but it is funny.
Dallas, don't send me the definition of funny.

I feel so utterly content and warm right now ... through my mind and bones. There's not a single thing I'm worried about. There's nothing that needs fixing. There's no one that I need to talk to. I'm just feeling this being of wonderfulness of love and friendships and future and such. It's nice. Now, if I could just bottle it...

Very nice, low-key birthday. Since I had to go to work today, I didn't want to do some big thing...when forced to pick and choose, I will almost always go for being in a quiet environment with a small number of people where we can actually talk to each other and such. I had some yummy mango-margarita's (one on the house!) and got two very nice presents. One was 10 movie passes to the Charles. Yay! The second was a pink MINI IPOD!!! I thought I wasn't getting that 'cause Chris and I had said we'd go to Vegas for our birthday's...but he surprised me with it (and a cute box of Godiva chocolates!). I'm quiet excited about it. It's so adorable. And will be awesome for the gym and outdoor workouts this spring. So, I had an awesome birthday. And now the year of 27 has begun.
Short story about the age....when I was 22 or 23, Abir & Scott told me that it was a pretty unfortunate age for a girl to be...but that when I turned 27, that'd be the best age ever. I'm sure they didn't think we'd still be good friends now (or even living in the same place), but now I can know all year that I'm the best age ever to them. heh.
