I had a nice trip. A little bit too much time to over-analzye things on the drive, but I had some good friends to talk through all my crazy thoughts with and made it back safe and sound. I did forget my luggage (i'm not kidding), so I didn't make it back with everything. It should reach me by Thursday.
There was a lot of snow/ice in Arkanasas that distrubed my plans. I hadn't brought back-up activities, so I found myself in a rare situation of not really having anything to do (though I could've researched online, but I didn't really want to be on the computer). I wasn't constructive with the time, but it was a good break for my mind. I also had three days that I slept like 10 hours.
I had a pretty nice Christmas with the family. Mom and I did some of the last minute cooking/cleaning, but then ate a little separate from all the screaming kids of my cousins. One little girl made her way to where we were 'cause she couldn't find a seat anywhere. heh. I also had this funny moment where mom and I had just gotten our food and I was like, 'Um, do you want to pray to that god of yours.' She doesn't always appreciate my sarcasm.
I also got to stay one night at Felicia's and spend the evening on Sunday with Tisha and family. It's good to see the girls and their girls and it's never enough time. Those kids are growing like crazy. I loved to hear little Jordan running through the house yelling "Bec! Bec! Bec!" Shelby didn't really have long enough to warm up to me, but still gave me good-bye-sugars.
Work is crazy busy today and I'm just not in the mood to catch up yet. I actually don't even want to carry all my stuff into my apartment. I have a lot to do this weekend, so I'm ready to fast forward to the 4th. Rude, I know.
