opensourceXperts a bust?

Well it has been a couple of weeks since I posted my job at opensourceXperts.com.

Response -- nothing -- no contact, no questions, nothing. No indication that the money I have proposed is too low. Just goose eggs.

I am beginning to think that this is definitely a bust! It seems like such a good idea though. But I see very little evidence that it works -- all those developers supposedly out there must be swamped in paying work, not care whether they are paid or ...?

I will wait a couple more weeks to see if there is some action then see if I can get the money back.

Email Phishing

It seems that the attempts to steal personal information via email are getting more sophisticated. The latest is a very good real looking email with every link on the html email page pointing to a real paypal site except this one:

http://210.187.122.110/Verify.htm

which points to a very authentic looking site (on an IP belonging to a Malaysian isp) attempting to steal personal information.
