Email Phishing/Emails with Viruses

In the latest in the psychological game to get people infected with viruses, I received the following in an email to a meetingbywire.com account(with a virus attachment):

Dear user of Meetingbywire.com gateway e-mail server,

Our main mailing server will be temporary unavaible for next two days, to continue receiving mail in these days you have to configure our free auto-forwarding service.

Advanced details can be found in attached file.

The Management,

The Meetingbywire.com team http://www.meetingbywire.com

Well I am not about to run the attachment (and the email is kind of humorous - both the misspelling and the fact that I run the domain in question) but I can see people getting caught. I have heard of at least one other domain getting spoofed this way so my guess is that the strategy is getting widely used.
