The Baby Watch . . . Continues
We're relieved that #2 exercised enough patience to stay put until he reached full term, but now we're starting to get a bit anxious. Because his big brother's delivery was so quick, we need to be ready at a moments notice and rush to the hospital at the first sign #2 is ready to make his appearance. Other than that, no stress.
And while we may be minutes away (at least in theory) from the big moment, we're still struggling with a name for our dear #2. Suggestions are always welcome. The most important qualification - the name must not be susceptible to teasing by his peers. Granted, kids are cruel and can make fun of anything - but if I can help mitigate that early on, then that is the least a father can do. So, the short list consists of: Ryan, Thomas, and Daniel. Jan's brother, Bob, insists that we keep Jake and Jack on the short list - but for some reason, I can't picture my son as a Jake. Who knows, maybe we'll meet #2, and a name will just call out to us.
