Introducing . . . Thomas Lee Wilson
Born August 17, 2003 at 9:40 pm. Weighing in at a respectable 7lbs 14 oz, and measuring 21 inches!
Talk about keeping us on our toes. We finally settled on the fact that Thomas would be induced on Tuesday morning, and he surprises us with his presence on Sunday night. Janet started to feel some strong contractions around 5:30 pm, so to be on the safe side, we headed over to the hospital and checked in around 6:45. We thought we might be in for another false alarm, but as soon as the nurse checked her out - it was clear that this guy was coming out soon. Three quick hours later, we have a new and wonderful addition to our lil' family.
Are we proud parents or what!?! It's a bit frightening to hold something so small and delicate. We've been through this before (and big bro Nick was actually a bit smaller), but I'm still overwhelmed by the responsibility of having to take care of someone so tiny, yet so precious.
On Monday morning, Nick came by to meet his little bro. Nick's not quite sure what to make of him, and but he seems very interested in Tommy so far. I'm hoping this is the start of a great friendship . . . .
