39 Weeks and 1 Day . . .
We finally have a date. No matter what, #2 will be born between now and August 19. If he doesn't come out on his own, we're going in after him. Janet had her weekly check-up today - she's 2 cm and 90% effaced. Wow! Not sure what's keeping the little guy up there - except his sheer will power.
It's kind of ironic - we were worried that #2 would come too soon. So, we prepared all of our friends, family and co-workers that the baby could arrive at any moment. Well, that was over 3 weeks ago. Now it is starting to get a bit embarassing when people ask - 'have you had the baby yet'?
In any event, now that we have a fixed date, Janet and I can finally relax and stop worrying about when the baby will come. We're going to try to enjoy one more weekend as a family of three - and by next weekend, we can start enjoying our family of four!
