Japan-Train Derailment (Kyodo) Updated Three cars of JR East limited express train Inaho #14, bound for Akita from Niigata on the Uetsu Line (#2), have derailed near Kita Amarume in snowy Yamagata. There is at least one fatality (a 30-year-old woman) and some two dozen other casualties, including several passengers trapped in one of the cars. 2005.12.25
