10/20 Had my first meeting with Dr. Barton since radiation today. Hadn't seen him in two months. All-in-all, I'm in great shape. My lymphocites were a little low, and he will watch this, and since I had already gotten my flu shot in Barrington, he ordered a pneumonia vaccine - only needed every 5 years. Said I will be a little more susceptible to infection. I will have another CAT scan on November 7th (oh, those barium cocktails!), but he said he would be really surprised if anything new popped up. My physical exam showed nothing and I remain symptom-free. He said it could be quite awhile before I have more problems, but at the same time, lymphoma can pop up anywhere at any time. Such a bizarre illness!! So, nothing very exciting to report for now. Will keep you posted on the results of the CT scan.
