David Hoggard's take on local politics and life in general from Greensboro, NC

I guess I didn't actually miss anything about the impending changes at the old Carolina Circle Mall, I was just a little ahead of the N&R's coverage of the issue.

Please, oh please, let it be a Super Mega Target!

It finally happened as predicted.  Some New Urbanist couple out of Greenville was investigating the Westerwood Neighborhood online and found the Indymedia site where the combatants continue to go at it (scoll way down) in a decidedly un-neighborly way.

The couple told those assembled that they are gonna pass.

Update: I decided to make what I thought to be an innocuous comment on the message board - big mistake.

In an effort to keep up with my reporting on the issue, N&R sportswriter Jim Young filed a very balanced and well-researched article on the basketball flap at the Greensboro Sportsplex.
