Joelblog on Pat Robertson's latest pronouncement: 

"...I am an evangelical protestant Christian, and I'm just embarrassed by (or for) him. ...truth is Pat Robertson does not have special insight into the providential mind of God, and he does not know "why" Ariel Sharon has had this terrible stroke. Maybe it was to incite Pat Robertson to say something really really stupid so that nobody would support his ministry anymore."

Not to beat a dead horse, but a local 'political type' emailed me about our New Year's party with this dire warning...

"I have no comment on the party, but if you are going to run for office, I would be careful what you post. Someone can say you let kids drink underage in your house now. I would if I was working against you."

To which I replied... "I suppose you could say that if you wanted to be inaccurate.  What someone could truthfully say is that some kids were caught drinking at my house."  He shot back...

"Being accurate does not matter, neither does the truth.  But somebody could say you had minors drinking and point to the blog for proof. Just trying to play devil's advocate for you."

Point well taken.  Sometimes I might be too 'transparent' for my own good.  Opinions?
