Joann Grove Dilts We've just learned that Joann died on December 2 after a long struggle with cancer. She was a friend to many of us, from her early days at Dubois and continuing at SHS. Joann had so many talents, from music to writing, and she had a hilarious sense of humor. In the 1958 Capitoline, she wrote many of the quips that appear beneath our Senior pictures. Someone else wrote this for her: Joann, our idea of the perfect lady executive, is a balance of brains, sophistication, and cosmopolitan ways. Combine all this with dark hair and snapping dark eyes--a hit for sure! Joann married our classmate, Steve Dilts, and raised two sons, Steve, Jr. and John, who have produced two grandchildren. Her mother still lives in Springfield. The class extends its deepest sympathy to Steve, who may be reached at 16850 Wild Plum Circle, Morrison, CO, 80465. 11:25:45 PM    comment []
