Former Official Describes Bush as Disengaged By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 Paul O'Neill, who was pushed out of the administration as treasury secretary because it was felt he was not a team player, says President Bush was so disengaged during Cabinet meetings that he was like a "blind man in a roomful of deaf people."
Mr. O'Neill, who has kept silent about the circumstances surrounding his ouster from the Cabinet 13 months ago, is now ready to give his side of the story with a book that paints Mr. Bush as a disengaged president who did not encourage debate. ...
My comments: I don't know why people won't simply realize or admit that the man is not this that or the other thing, but is just plain UNINTELLIGENT! If he seemed "disengaged", it was because he was zoning out because he couldn't follow the conversation! Never attribute to malice that which can be easily explained by stupidity! He is not a presidenthe's a dummy and a figurehead and a pawn. He never should have been more than a cattle rancher. It's no different than when you got idiots and crazy people in the various monarchies. It's always going to happen when people are given positions based on birth rather than competency. Now I don't even happen to think that he's a nice idiot, or one with a good worldview, or even one that would be pleasant to be around, but there's no denying the fact that he's an idiot. Makes you really want to make sure no strange thing you happen to scrawl down on a scrap of paper ends up blowing down the street or something! "(There Must Be) 50 Ways to Dump the Dubya" At Least! P.S.
George W. Bush
is "a miserable failure on foreign
policy and on the economy and he's got to be replaced."
