§ 16 Zahlung
1. (1) Abschlagszahlungen sind auf Antrag in Höhe des Wertes der jeweils nachgewiesenen vertragsgemäßen Leistungen einschließlich des ausgewiesenen, darauf entfallenden Umsatzsteuerbetrags in möglichst kurzen Zeitabständen zu gewähren. Die Leistungen sind durch eine prüfbare Aufstellung nachzuweisen, die eine rasche und sichere Beurteilung der Leistungen ermöglichen muss. Als Leistungen gelten hierbei auch die für die geforderte Leistung eigens angefertigten und bereitgestellten Bauteile sowie die auf der Baustelle angelieferten Stoffe und Bauteile, wenn dem Auftraggeber nach seiner Wahl das Eigentum an ihnen übertragen ist oder entsprechende Sicherheit gegeben wird.

"iPod.iTunes 2.7.2 from CrispSofties is the latest update to the iPod utility that provides synchronization of tracks and playlists from any iPod to any Mac, including track info like Rating, Last Played and Play Count. Scientists Debate Robotic Hubble Mission
"An anonymous reader writes 'Some scientists are questioning whether the robotic mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope is worth the risk and cost. After the Columbia disaster, NASA cancelled its shuttle mission to Hubble, and replaced it with a robotic mission. However, the price tag of the robotic mission is between $1 billion and $2 billion, almost the cost of a new space telescope. Optics expert Duncan Moore is unsure whether the mission will bring the most scientific return per dollar spent. Hubble director Steven Beckwith says the mission will lead to breakthroughs in space robotics.'"

NASA's Deep Impact
"NivenMK1 writes 'The Seattle Times has an interesting article on NASA's plan to nail the comet Tempel 1 with a chunk of copper the size of a bathtub on July 4 this year. This copper 'bullet' is intended to strike the comet at approximately 23,000 mph and hit with a force equivalent to 4.7 tons of TNT. Scientists hope to discover what exactly the comet is made of and what changes have occurred to the outer layers with reference to the core.'"
