Received a note, probably from a Wonderware marketing person, regarding my post of some press releases recently. Mr. "Insider" thinks Incuity is toast for supporting an old version of Wonderware. Interesting to note that Dataworks has a bunch of ex-Wonderware people.
I don't think that Dataworks is building a company solely on that platform. The company has some new stuff. That said, I'm not guaranteeing that it will be around in another year. It's tough starting a new endeavor. Automation World is my third go of it. I'm as determined to make it succeed as are the people at Dataworks (older company, but in many ways a start up). Glad to see some rivalry out there. It makes things interesting for editors--and usually better for customers.
