Third day of "Automation World" in Houston and immersion in ABB. The keynotes this morning are from Linda Sanford, a vice president at IBM and ABB CEO Fred Kindle. Sanford spoke on innovation and the results of an indepth survey of global chief executives. Continuing the theme of the conference, the survey revealed strog ties among innovation, collaboration and financial performance. More later when I have time to compile. Kindle also pointed to the strong financial performance of the company over 2005 and the first part of 2006. His remarks pointed out the importance of execution for business success.
