Yesterday and today I'm at a conference for publishing types. It's continuing education for me, and I've been in an editorial content session with speakers who are leaders from CNN Money online, Kiplinger Online, Wired News, ESPN the magazine, Yoga Journal, and Infoworld/Computerworld. Lots of good ideas for me to take back to Automation World.
Still catching up on news. Here's an interesting article from The New York Times about a manufacturing company that's on top that still needs ways to improve--Toyota. The article is a reminder to all of us not to get complacent and remember one of the central tenets of the Toyota Way--continuous improvement. Or as the Lean guys like to say--apply Lean principles to all processes.
