Darn, my invitation was lost in the mail again. So, once more I'm in Ohio instead of Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum mingling with 2,500 of my closes rich and politically powerful friends. Here is a picture of the place. Beautiful. Robert Scoble points out that there is not enough focus on the role small business plays in economic recovery. (I applaud the thought.) Michael Arrington of TechCrunch reports the mood is somber as the economic elite ponder how we got in this mess and how we'll get out.
I'm sure we'll hear more bad news before the bounce back. I've lived through several of these, and I'm sure I'll live through this one. One thing is for sure, the economy will be better before anyone realizes that it's better--especially news outlets who hate good news. Well, here's hoping they figure something out in Switzerland.
