Microsoft brings out Bing--a new search tool. There are many searches in Google that annoy me--too much gaming so that you don't get to the site you really want quickly. I've just tried Bing a few times, but so far so good. Then Google ups the ante by releasing beta (everything is beta at Google) of Google Squared. Wow is that cool. I just tried it for the first time, but I'm impressed. Google also announced Wave as a way of combining email and social media streams. I have not tried it yet--just too busy with work and soccer referee assigning. I'll be glad to get the next couple of weeks behind me. So far, I've found some of the Google collaboration tools unwieldy and difficult to use. I also don't trust Google--it does track everything you do, and we don't know what it does with the information beyond serving up ads supposedly targeted to what you're interested in. I'll try Wave when I get a little free time to set it up. Anyone else tried it?
