Carl Henning referring to my post about social engineers asked "The colored socks were easy, but how did you hide that K&E Log Log Duplex Decitrig slide rule in its beautiful leather case?" Well, Carl, I had a K&E Log Log slide rule (in that yellow/green that was supposed to be easier on the eyes) and a leather case--actually it's in the closet behind my desk chair right now. Had a slide rule specifically for electronics math, too. Answer--you couldn't hide it. But I never wore it from my belt. Also never did a pocket protector, or hung my cell phone from my belt, either.

Tony, referring to my post about forums and other online groups responded, "e-mail lists still aren't dead (at least they're still widely used in open source circels) -- IMHO they're often better than forums. You don't have to sign up with yet another web site (LinkedIn, Facebook, Control.com, etc), you get notified automatically when there are new posts, can be archived and searched using sites like nabble, and work great with gmail."

Yes, I like the notification part.
