Dear friends of ours, John and Sara Barton, are taking their children back to Uganda, where my family lived and worked with them from 1994 - 2001. They are the first of our mission team to return with their whole family, and we are all watching to see how the children react to the memories of their childhood.
Jill prepared a trip for me in early 2003 that was a powerful reminder to us of how much we love Ugandans and a moving example to them that we had not forgotten them.
Please remember John, Sara, Nate, and Brynn in prayer this week as they embark on a wonderful journey back to the land where those two children, Nate and Brynn, grew up. By the way, they'll have about a dozen college students and a new missionary couple, Spencer and Emily Bogle, along as well.
