NY Times [posted by Troy] Of course, after I make the comment about only US ridings wearing the yellow jersey, Armstrong gave up the Tour lead to German Jens Voigt today. But, This NY Times article talks about other ways that the US has impacted European cycling, namely in making bikes.

For all ten stages of this year's Tour de France, an American has worn the yellow leader's jersey. This may be the first time that this has ever happened. It also indicates that cycling isn't dominated by Europe as it used to be.

 Kim and I had a fun-filled morning at the DMV getting new licenses. What a great way to spend a Saturday. This my very first license that does not have a Cambridge, Illinois address, despite the fact that I haven't lived there for around 8 or 9 years.
