A new coalition group (Lakes and Land Use Coalition)  has formed by uniting seven organizations in the White Lake, Waterford, Commerce, and West Bloomfield areas. The group was established to address the quality of life in new developments, roads and recreation for their residents. The group is initially focusing on Commerce Township's acquisition and future development of the two former golf courses and the surrounding area. The coalition represents approximately 700 individuals within the seven charter organizations.

you need to keep up the pressure on Tom Zoner.TZ is one of the biggest

Thank you for your input. It's true that history repeats itself and that in order to leverage it you have to understand the past. We had no idea that this had happened in the township and we are glad that Joe has brought it to the groups attention so that their success and lessons learned are utilized.
