Click on the link in the title and see why our state and federal government is concerned about the impact of the lakes and wetlands. Want to know why? Because it's all lakes and wetlands.

Thanks to Mark G. on providing this navigable link to a satellite view of the areas impacted by the development of these two courses. It was somewhat difficult to find it as at the time M-5 was only completed to 14 mile road. We also conferred with additional people from the state and federal government last week who were involved with the original agreements and discovered that it is true that both entities are against a road continuation through the properties. We inquired about the semantics of the difference between the "Martin Road extension" and a continuation of M-5 and found that there is significant environmental impact that concerns both governing bodies regardless of name.
