Counting Days
Just three more days to go before my holidays. I'm trying to get all the loose ends taken care of at work before I go, so it's been pretty busy. As well, it's Week 2 of dance camp, which means I'm out every night. This week we've moved on from Bollywood dancing to West African dancing. I'm finding muscles I never even knew I had!
Before the Bollywood teacher left last week, she pulled me aside and told me that Iris had something special and that she should really consider a career in dance. We shall see what transcribes over the next two years. Iris' local dance teachers are encouraging her to get as much 'Outside' dance experience as possible. She's being encouraged to go to a dance school in Nanaimo next summer (the name escapes me but it's supposed to be very good), and then spend a few weeks in Vancouver at Arts Umbrella. I told her she'd have to get a part time job to help pay for all this. We'll see how committed she is.
