Low Vitamin D Tied to Cancer Risk in Men (Again)
Last week I reprted on the low vitamin D/prostate cancer risk. Today's medical news reports on a new study which connects low vitamin D levels to gastrointestinal cancers as well.
Maxi Multi contains 400 IU of vitamin D, thought to be an optimal dose for both men and women. Unless you live in the sunny southwest, however, it may be time to add an additional 400-1,000 IU of vitamin D to your program, for a total of 1,000-2,000 IU. These doses have never been shown to be toxic, and now they look quite the opposite: cancer protective.
Have a Sunny Day!
