Survey: Most Obese Claim to Eat Healthy
And when asked about their weight they'll admit that they might be "a little bit heavy," with "maybe 15 or 20 pounds to lose," but that they are really "big boned" and "I don't look good if I get too thin - everybody says so," and that "being big runs in my family" as if that excuses everything anyway.
How's this: put down the Carbo-McMonster Meal and the Super-Giant ColaGulp and back away slowly; and no one gets hurt. Leave your Urban Assault Vehicle parked in the driveway and ~walk~ the three blocks to the park every day where you will spend at least 15 minutes ~briskly~ walking your dog and yourself before ~walking~ the three blocks home again... Remove all the high-carbohydrate temptations from your home and life, and replace them with high protein, high nutrition, low carb foods. You won't wither away if you don't have bread and beans and potatoes and pasta and rice to "fill up" on... You will get along just fine without nacho chips and s'mores and donuts to snack on. Your blood sugar won't fall to "dangerously low levels", and you won't "pass out" from hunger I promise! That "jittery, shaky feeling?" That's your body shifting over into fat-burning mode, and once the shift has been made (it won't take very long...) you won't feel jittery or shaky, you'll feel great!
You might be surprised how soon you are not "big boned" any more!
