Date Description Oct 1- Oct 31 Write for Fright!: Scary Story Contest Monday, October 01, 2007 Youth Services Department, Hackley Public Library. Enter Write for Fright!, HPL’s scary story contest. Anyone in grades K-6 can join. Bring your stories and poems to the Library by October 31. Each year the scariest stories are printed in a Write fro Fright! Author and freelance sports writer Todd Mishler chronicles the Big Ten's greatest football rivalries in a new book from Big Earth Publishing. Mishler interviewed dozens of former players and coaches to capture the flavor, both on and off the field, surrounding arguably college football's best and most historic conference.
