The Invention of Hugo Cabret: A Novel in Words and Pictures
The Invention of Hugo Cabret: A novel in words and pictures is about a boy who meets an old man formerly famous as Georges Melies, a film pioneer. The book is part novel and part graphic novel, interestingly intertwined. The cartoon panels reflect film techniques from the early days of movies.
