Off-Topic Post: Raising Rossy
We're all working hard to raise the funds required to buy a new electric wheelchair for Rossy, a local resident. The new chair, which costs £6,000, will make a great difference to his quality of life. Rossy's bright, intelligent and articulate, and I can't think of a more deserving person to help.
There's a clay pigeon shoot in North Hampshire on 17th September, and a 50-mile sponsored cycle ride around the Hampshire countryside on 30th September (which will be a challenge - I'm not as svelte as I used to be). If you are interested in joining in either of these events, or sponsoring the ride, then please drop me a line.
