Persecution
Is the US inconsistent in its
approach to countries who persecute Christians? If the US punishes a
small trading partner with economic sanctions yet spares a large
trading partner - is that showing partiality or flexibility? It
seems to me that the government should strive for consistent standards
and apply them equally to everyone. We should have an expressed policy
with a clear aim of doing what we can to bring attention to and ease
the persecution of Christians, and in fact, people of other religious
beliefs as well. Here's an article talking about this issue:
US
Lets Big Trade Partners Continue Religious Persecution ...
Agape Press - Tupelo,MS,USA ...
is interesting that the US government is applying a double standard in
dealing with countries tagged by the US State Department for their religious
persecution
