Peter and I are headed off to the Bear Tooth for the 5:30 PM showing of Far From Heaven. I've been waiting for months for this movie to make it to Anchorage. And that it's at the Bear Tooth is even better - the movie plus beer and good food.

UPDATE: We just got back from the flick - very very good. It was so stylized 50's - my Mom absolutely has to go see this. Julianne Moore, Dennis Quaid, and Dennis Haysbert were all excellent. The Elmer Bernstein score was perfect - I was transported back to Marcus Welby and Peyton Place. One striking aspect was the unbelievable costume color coordination with Fall colors. I've never seen anything like that in film before. Quite a trick and it worked marvelously well.
