More Memphis
One afternoon after the meetings, I went to the Mud Island River Park and Museum. Its main feature is a five block `river walk`along a replica of the lower Mississippi. It was great---excellent explanations, city layouts, bridges, layers of sediment, and water. Kids were having a great walking the Mississippi. I, too, was tempted to take my shoes off and wade. It was a great visual and tactile experience that brought an unique understanding of the geography of the Mississippi River.
I have pictures to add, but they haven't up streamed yet. I'll come back and add them.
