Happy Independence Day

I am proud to be an American! My deepest gratitude go to those 56 men who risked everything, lives and fortunes, to sign the Declaration of Independence---those 56 men who committed treason against the Crown as they stood for what they believed.
We, therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved;
Continued freedom is not free. My heart goes out to all those have given their lives that I may be here today listening to American Anthem with Denyce Graves and freely and opening blogging whatever I wish.
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
And may divine Providence watch over all who are proctecting our freedoms today and in the days to come.
America! America! God shed His grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea.
How could I have been so fortunate to have been born in this country! Thank you to my two ancestors who came to the United States in search of a better life----Great Grandfather Thompson from Ireland and Great, Great Grandmother Sommerman from Germany.
