The Stock Market Roller Coaster!

We were without internet service the past two days, so ignorance was bliss. Even though the market was down 387 points today, I had a stock that was up. So all's well, that ends well. Last week I finished selling my weak stocks, consequently, I'm content to wait until this is over and it's time to buy again.
This eveining I've been looking for some reasonably promising stocks to use for stock analysis in my Econ and Stocks for Teachers class that begins mid-September. I thought I might do restraurants since we all eat. At first glance nothing looks particularly promising. However, I might us SONC. I've used it off and on for several years. Wish I had bought some shares during one of those class preps.
