It's the End of 2007 It's been a good year. Attended two operas at the Met Attended the World Affairs Councils of America conference in Washington, D.C. Completed my 1-year work project at Alaska World Affairs Council Committed to combining and editing the two Slingerland text books to create a new Teaching Guide Committed to actively running my investment account Tutored (separately) three junior high students all summer Resigned from the Slingerland Board to concentrate on the Teaching Guide Coordinated the Stock Market Program in Alaska Taught four investment classes Became president of the Alaska Chapter of NAIC Continued as treasurer of the Alaska Council on Economic Education Became active again as an Anchorage Concert Associate Participated in the Commonwealth North study of the Permanent Fund--its governance and other possible uses for it Finished combining and editing the two Slingerland textbooks to create the new Teaching Guide--one day ahead of schedule--turned it over to the copy editor Tripled my investment goal---it was to equal what I had made the year I worked for the Alaska World Affairs Council.
