Market In Correction, etc

So, the market is in correction for who knows how long. I sold another two stocks today--one to protect gain and one to cut a loss. The others I've sold continue to go down. That validation always makes me feel good.

I finished reading Battle Ready. The last section was about the Israel/Palestine peace negotiations. Even though I knew how they turned out, I couldn't put the book down. I don't know for sure whether it was outstanding reading or procrastination.

Now I'm finishing the last two-thirds of At the Abyss: An Insider's History of the Cold War by Thomas C. Reed. I have just read the recap of U.S. nuclear development from 1952 on. It is amazing to me that during all the development and the weapons on-the-alert time there have no serious U.S. nuclear accidents.

I'm enjoying reading these recaps of recent history and thinking about where I was and what I was doing at the time. The next section is Getting Started in Vietnam.
