Click on second placer Matt Hales to see a mini gallery of a selection of photos from the annual 15 miles and junior support races.
There was some pessimism about future stages of the one lap road race. Some ideas though for promoting the event next year however include the fact that 2006 will be the golden anniversery of local man Norman Read's Olympic 50km win at Melbourne - which will also be the venue of the Commonwealth Games which finish just two days before next Easter Monday.

The problem for me in producing a fixture calendar linked from this site is avoiding duplication with that produced for print, as well as the list it is based upon on the Race Walking Association site.
Now using OPML I've hopefully found a way to kill two birds with one stone, and make a more useful online resource. Click the title or the link in the sidebar for fixtures (next three months at present).
Any absenses or extra links - let me know.
OPML is designed for sharing categories of information - in a coordinated way. You can use and adapt this source OPML for use on your own page (using an outliner program).
