Steve Jobs in the Independent: "Our strategy is to innovate. We are the innovator of the industry. Most of our competitors try to copy us. Our strategy has worked really well for us."

Where's your Tablet PC? ;-)

Jeffrey McManus, of eBay, responds to my rant about Microsoft and Six Apart with "[Weblogging has] definitely rekindled my love affair with the Internet, and I say that with 100% sincerity."

Chuq Von Rospach has an interesting weblog on working at Apple.

Oh, one more thing about Mary Jo Foley's comments. I never said "blogging" and RSS in the same sentence. Mary Jo, RSS 2.0 can be used for a lot more than blogging.

Over at the PDC Bloggers I'm seeing some worrying that all the new stuff that Microsoft is gonna show off at the PDC will be too hard for developers to grok. Um, if you can program in VB.NET or C# and use the .NET Framework, you'll feel right at home with all the new stuff.

Mary Jo Foley, over at Microsoft-Watch, has a little fun with me. She overhypes my comments, though. We will have something to show about RSS 2.0, but it's nowhere near as important as Indigo, Avalon, Yukon, etc.

She also says I can't keep a secret. Well, you still don't know what we're gonna show off, do you? Hmmm. ;-)
