Goodmorning from sunny Las Vegas! Just shaking the cobwebs from the ole noggin'. 9 hour time difference with back home. The hotel is great, and I'm totally diggin' the in-room broadband connection. Sure the $9.95 a day is outrageous, but I'm saving hundreds, if not in the 4 digits with calling back home. Apple's iChat in combo with iSight cams really brings the star trek dream to life. It's also really handy for this week's live radio production. Having 10 crew members spilt up amongs multiple hotels and room used to be a daughnting task. Now IM serves as a perfect coordination tool. In combo with individual weblogs I also know who slept well and who already had breakfast :)

Gonna grab a bite to eat in a few minutes, then we start production of guests, plenty of fun ones in town, including a bevvy of country music superstars.
Althans, hier is het morgen. Vreemd om aan de andere kant van de klok te zitten. Normaal is mijn engelse log al uren ge-update. Ook tot de ontdekking gekomen dat ik mijn USB snoertje van de digicam vergeten ben, Alex en Michiel gelukkig niet, straks dus ff lenen.
Zondag is in Amerika traditioneel de dag dat politici en journalisten in verschillende talkshows verschijnen om te praten over de week die was en de verwachtte gebeurtenissen voor de komende week. Ziet er niet goed uit voor Bush, veel republikeinen die zich nu ook voorzichtig tegen hem en 'the war in iraq' beginnen te keren. Verder is het hier rustig, behlve de zeppelin die gisteren neerstortte, geen gewonden, wel schade. oops, bad day sir :)

Made it! 15 hours of travel, but well worth it. Now for a beer :) We start our live broadcast tomorrow evening at 9pm from the RA VIP club in the Luxor.
