Thoughts on Radio business models:

Phil Greenspan's business model for content websites: "So I do think worthwhile content sites will come back even as laden-with-infrastructure services like Salon die. They'll come back as husband-and-wife teams using whatever tools come packaged with the latest version of Windows, served from a machine in their home that is connected via cable modem or DSL line. The content will be mostly in niche areas that don't make sense for print magazines." I agree, but I think that the content sites of the future will be running some version of Radio. More activity in the Radio Tools world:

Thanks Mark!  I used Mark's blog search tool to search through my extensive Weblog entries and I got all my K-Log entries back ( ~125) in less than a second.  Wow!  I love this developer community! [John Robb's Radio Weblog]

David Handy has released a tool to generate Radio.root update reports. Nifty! I'll be trying that one out tomorrow morning, I think. [Garth Kidd: DBS - On Radio]

Garth Kidd is coming along on Radio Hackmaster:

Massive Progress Dept.:

It's late, but I'm pretty bloody content because I've nearly finished HackMasterSuite.init(). Currently weighing in at 125 lines when I paste it into a normal text editor, it's smart enough to handle all of the normal tool initialization, scan for hack definitions, and check the targets out.

I still have some work to do on init(), including preparation for a wicked refactor of the tool initialization (see the latest HackMaster NotEvenGoodEnoughForABeta for details), and then there's the rest of HackMaster to write, but I've well and truly earned tonight's sleep.
