Yesterday Duncan Smeed posted an item on his new Radio blog that told me we're getting close. "Time from install to post: about 5 minutes!" That was the design goal, I don't know how Duncan knew, or if he did, but that was what we were aiming for, 80 percent of the people get from install to post in five minutes. [Scripting News] Wow! I certainly didn't expect to get a top billing on Dave's site. Apologies to all of you visiting here expecting great insight. For the record, I didn't have a clue that the '5 minute install to post' was a design goal. It's testimony to Radio's power that it was as a doddle to go from install to post. Good morning. Lots of marking to do today so not much time to play around with Radio. I'll have to go looking for the answer to the question of how (easily) I can configure Radio to use the web proxy service when I'm at work. Other interesting possibilities that I need to investigate include mirroring this weblog to my work website and hooking up Radio to Conversant. Why!, oh why!, can't Microsoft have fixed Mac IE 5.1 so that it's more reponsive when used to access the local copy of this Radio Weblog? I'll try it with another browser later. 12:56:04 AM
