Thursday, May 11, 2000 Mary and I lugged my quite hefty new futon mattress up to my apartment during our lunch hour. It's a huge improvement over the previous one, as it's approximately twice as thick, but it required some wrestling to get through my box-filled apartment. The funny thing is that I haven't come close to getting anything unpacked yet and I'm already looking at buying more furniture for my apartment. Most likely I'll be purchasing some kind of entertainment center along with a table/desk/workspace for my computers, although in the interest of not spending all of my monthly income at once I'm focusing on the latter at this point. 2:17:00 PM     Thursday, May 11, 2000 Fiddling around with Userland's Pike outliner just now, I finally realized how to access the underlying Frontier engine. It's simply a matter of opening the Pike.root file using the Open local file menu item. Very cool. 2:08:00 PM     Thursday, May 11, 2000 A couple MacOS X related weblogs: wwdc2000.weblogs.com and macosx.weblogs.com. I finally bought a new mattress for my futon last night. It's a lot nicer than the one it's replacing, but I don't have it yet for a variety of ridiculous reasons I won't bother going into. I should get it today though. 10:01:00 AM
