AppleScript XML-RPC fun

Yesterday I started investigating AppleScript's new XML-RPC capabilities. They seem to work as advertised. Looks like I'm going to have to do some further playing.

Today I saw Dave Winer had a link to www.webentourage.com and the BlogScript project for posting to Blogger via the XML-RPC api. Even though I'm not using Blogger anymore (Greymatter) I had to dust off my old account and give it a whirl. After answering a couple questions about my Blogger account and weblog id it was ready to go and it worked perfectly. Fun stuff.

When (and if) I implement my own weblog management system. XML-RPC support is going to be one of the first things I work on. Web interfaces are old news ; ).
