BanditsYesterday afternoon Mary and I caught a showing of Bandits at the downtown AMC theater. Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Cate Blanchet were quite funny and there were plenty of twists and turns to keep things interesting.
On a cool trailer-viewing note I saw the new Fellowship Of The Ring trailer for the first time yesterday as well. Very impressive. Between the cinemotography, the cgi, and the quality actors I think we've got a serious blockbuster on our hands. I am so looking forward to this movie.
Of course in the meantime with at least two or three movies out there (K-Pax, Corky Romano, Riding In Cars With Boys) that I'd still like to see and a couple more opening Friday (Monsters Inc., The One), I think we're going to have our hands full for a while. And considering Harry Potter's only a couple weeks away it looks like this November/December could be some of the most exciting movie going months ever.
